Group C arguably features some of the best teams in world football and one of the popular dark horse picks to win the tournament. Between Germany and Poland, there are plenty of players who can be considered top class.
Meanwhile, Ukraine and Northern Ireland haven’t had the results they hoped for so far, but each squad has players worthy of Premier League consideration.
Hopefully Arsene Wenger is watching. The 66-year-old is fully expected to compete for the Premier League title next season and will need to strengthen this summer in order to do so.
Arsenal have a core of superb players, but some gaps need filling. More clinical attachers, a stronger defence and grit in the middle of the park are among the areas Wenger must focus on.
So these are the FIVE players from Group C that can Arsenal should target this summer…
Grzegorz Krychowiak
Krychowiak provides the type of toughness and resolution that Arsenal desperately crave.
The club needs someone who can provide structure to the midfield, while holding the defensive side properly as Arsenal’s talented attackers push forward.
Arkadiusz Milik
Arsenal yearns for another scoring threat alongside Oliver Giroud.
The Polish striker is often overlooked because of Robert Lewandowski’s consistency in front of goal, but Milik has an impressive scoring history in his young international career.
Entering the EUROs, Milik had scored 11 goals in just 28 appearances for Poland.
Kamil Glik
Per Mertesacker is 31-years-old, and it showed at times last year. Should Wenger stick with the veteran and live with the results?
Wenger needs to search for longterm solutions to his centre back conundrum, and Glik, a fantastic aerial threat, has shown he is capable of performing at the highest level.
Toni Kroos
Arsenal already have the best attacking midfield in the Premier League, but Kroos’ skill set complements it.
He doesn’t have the speed of Alexis Sanchez or the intuition of Mesut Ozil, but Kroos is a skilled tactician.
The German is a calming influence in the midfield, and his service into the box is supreme.
Taras Stepanenko
Stepanenko, 26, is another one of Group C’s hard men in midfield.
The Ukrainian is a defensive-minded player that would encourage Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s progression up the field.
